Time

  • My dear brothers and sisters, dear friends, we must begin to walk that eternal path today; we cannot take for granted one single day. I pray that we will not wait until we are ready to die before we truly learn to live. – Dieter F. Uchtdorf  Of Regrets and Resolutions (Oct. 2012 Conference)
  • Don’t put your eternal life at risk. Keep the commandments of God. If you have sinned, the sooner you begin to make your way back, the sooner you will find the sweet peace and joy that come with the miracle of forgiveness. Happiness comes from living the way the Lord wants you to live and from service to God and others. ~ President Monson Preparation Brings Blessings (May 2010 Liahona)

  • Although His time is not always our time, we can be sure that the Lord keeps His promises. ~Henry B. Eyring Where is the Pavilion (Oct. 2012 Conference)
  • ...we can’t insist on our timetable when the Lord has His own. ~Henry B. Eyring Where is the Pavilion (Oct. 2012 Conference)
  • The channel through which the Almighty commenced revealing His glory at the … creation of this earth, and through which He has continued to reveal Himself to the children of men to the present time, and through which He will make known His purposes to the end of time.  ~ Joseph Smith  Teachings of Presidents of the Church: Joseph Smith (2007), 108–9.

  • Sometimes we become so focused on the finish line, that we fail to find joy in the journey. ~Dieter F. Uchtdorf Of Regrets and Resolutions (Oct. 2012 Conference)
  • Yes, this life is passing swiftly; our days seem to fade quickly; and death appears frightening at times. Nevertheless, our spirit will continue to live and will one day be united with our resurrected body to receive immortal glory. ~Dieter F. Uchtdorf  Of Regrets and Resolutions (Oct. 2012 Conference)
